Founded by the Dennis Brothers in 1885, Dennis is one of the key British specialist vehicle manufacturers. Based in Guildford, Surrey, Dennis are most famous for manufacturing Fire Engines. With a slightly shorter wheel base than its smaller sister the F8, a total of 336 F12 built between 1950 and 1959, and were operated by over 90 British brigades and 6 brigades overseas. To save on cost, the F12s were often left with unpainted sides as per this particular example that has silver finished sides and rear with a standard signal red front to the cab.
